StickStash is developed and operated by 1315926 B.C. LTD., a corporation incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to the StickStash macOS application, stickstash.app, and related support and account services.
Information we handle
Account and purchase information
We process the email address and authentication information needed to create and secure your account. Our payment provider processes payment details and sends us purchase, subscription, and entitlement information. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
Your StickStash records
StickStash stores the tasks, bookmarks, notes, sources, status, due dates, labels, and attachments you choose to save. Premium can synchronize those records through our cloud service. Secure keeps StickStash records on your Mac; account and licence information still needs to be processed to verify access.
Connected services
If you connect Notion or send a task to Claude Code or Codex, StickStash shares only the content required for the action you request. Credentials stored by the app are kept in macOS Keychain. Those services process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Website, diagnostics, and support
We may collect basic website usage information, device and browser information, and referral data to understand site performance. When you contact support or report an issue, we process the information you submit and related correspondence. The issue form clearly warns when submitted information will be posted to a public GitHub repository.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, synchronize, and support StickStash.
- Authenticate accounts and verify trials, purchases, and subscriptions.
- Complete actions you request with connected services.
- Diagnose problems, improve reliability, and prevent misuse.
- Meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
Sharing and service providers
We use service providers for authentication and cloud storage, payment processing, website hosting and analytics, email, and support infrastructure. They may process information only to provide those services or as required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including account operation, support, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. You can delete your StickStash account from the app. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can choose local-only record storage with StickStash Secure, decline optional integrations, disconnect Notion, and control macOS Accessibility access in System Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information.
